£88.4m–£88.6m
Two European upgrades — and almost no range in the final number.
Chelsea's rebuilt positions produce £23.17m in net league-position value. Two European boundary changes then add roughly £65.3m.

| Exact model total | £23.17m | |
Displayed season values are rounded. The total uses the underlying position-linked distribution calculation.
This is where the number changes gear.
Chelsea cross European qualification boundaries 2 times in the rebuilt tables.
Europa League qualification becomes Champions League qualification in the rebuilt table.
Conference League qualification becomes Europa League qualification in the rebuilt table.
European values use the lower-to-central methodology: comparable English non-winning UEFA distributions, converted to sterling. They model competition revenue, not a hypothetical run or trophy.
£0 — no survival reversal.
Relegation is tested separately. A position change only creates additional value if the club crosses the survival line.
What we can measure.
That's where the calculation stops. We don't add sponsorship, matchday income, player values, transfers, wages, managerial changes or longer-term consequences.
Those belong to the story. Not the calculation.
The calculation includes the 2018/19 negative league-position movement rather than only counting seasons that improve.
